What’s New at Foster’s Market?

Pasolivo is here!  We’re the only market in North Carolina to carry this impressive line of olive oils from Paso Robles, California.  Paso Robles is also home to Sara’s brother-in-law’s winery Edward Sellers Vineyards and Wines, where she first encountered Pasolivo.  The Paso Robles area is like heaven if you are into food and wine, and everyone’s trying to get in.  The climate and soil make phenomenal conditions for growing grapes and olives, and the growers and purveyors there are  a tight-knit community that is passionate about the artisan process.  Check out the display of Pasolivo in both Durham and Chapel Hill Markets for recipe ideas!

The stovetop has arrived!  Sara’s husband Peter delivered a sleek Viking stovetop this weekend, the first installment for the new cooking area.  He weathered the ice and snow Sunday to do some painting and organizing, and we are starting to see things come together!
