Treat your family and friends to a made-from-scratch meal 5 days a week. All you have to do is heat and eat. This makes a great gift for family with a new member or a student away from home. Only $100 for 2 people for the entire week! Vegetarian menu alternatives are noted in parentheses.
We also offer the option of adding an order of vegetable sides and/or a kid entree! Every week, we offer a different vegetable side order that will include two different types of veggies for the week. We also offer a kid entree for those of you with pickier eaters in the house! There are three options each month from which you can select your kid entree for the week. Each of these add-ons, the vegetable sides and the kid entree, are an additional $15. We are now also offering the option to add bread to your meal, either a Baguette or Focaccia, for $3.50.
Please, no substitutions or customization. See individual menus for the weekly veggie side add-ons and the monthly kid entree options. You can also call the store for this week’s selection!

What customers are saying about Family Dinners:
“Last week was the BEST vegetarian week EVER! Chipotle mac & cheese was such a great change, my husband LOVED the grilled vegetable parmesan, my almost 4-year-old ate the orzo (a miracle) and I served the potato cakes with turkey bacon and eggs at breakfast (to die for….) We all liked the flavor of the slaw and I liked the change from salad and the bread for the pizza was soooo tasty. Seriously, a foodie dream last week. Oh yeah, my kids did not speak while devouring the banana pudding. That’s the highest form of praise if you can bring them both to silent food joy. Tell the kitchen thanks!!!” – Beth in Chapel Hill
“The Family Dinners from Foster’s Market in Durham have greatly improved my quality of life during the week. It’s such a relief knowing that when I go home after a hectic day at work, dinner is not only ready, it’s delicious! Leslie is so helpful and such fun to work with — thank you Fosters!” – Cheryl in Durham
“Foster’s Family Dinners are perfect for my family. My toddler is ready to eat almost as soon as we get home from work/daycare, so having something already prepared that we just have to heat up is very convenient. The interesting flavors and incorporation of healthy ingredients make choosing these meals an easy decision. And pick-up from the store couldn’t be easier — everything is packaged and ready to go, with full instructions. Thanks, Foster’s.” – Jenny in Durham
“They are the best baby gift to buy new parents! We discovered the Family Dinners a few months after our second baby was born–we were so happy to not scramble to make dinner last minute, or eat take-out and fast food every night. They are delicious, much healthier than take-out, and you don’t feel completely disconnected from your kitchen since you’re still using your oven to reheat the meals! Now, if Foster’s could only figure out a way to get us sleep again, we’d be all set! Thanks!” – Deepa, Durham
“We are enjoying the variety of the menu! Even during the worst of the week, I smile coming home knowing what wonderful dinners we have at home! Thanks for making this a reality!” – Susan, Durham
“Hi Jodie, I tried cooking. Boy do I miss family dinners. Can you put me down for 2 for week Four?” – Sarah, Chapel Hill
